REFLECTING ON IMAGERY
Deconstruct and Analise - why did you choose this image, what does it say about you?
why did I choose to present my family tree like this?

For my family tree I decided to gather images that related to the lists I created above. These were images of key memories, influential artists, books, movies, musicians, family members, events. Basically just the things that build up to make me.
I dated and described the imporatnce of each image and why i chose it on the back.
To present and display my work, I decided to place all the images on top of each other in a breakfast bowl. A bowl I eat from everyday. I chose to do this because all these memories feed me, much like food they give me life and energy and keep me alive. Un-pictured a spoon to go along side the bowl.

I liked how when I was building up the piece and layering the images on top of each other they would move about, some may support others while others cause a crumbling effect. I see this to be very reminiscent to real life.
